snoopy in style exhibition in paris celebrates 75 years of peanuts
To celebrate 75 years of Peanuts, the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Peanuts Worldwide present Snoopy in Style, an exhibition in Paris that explores the beloved comic strip’s deep ties with the fashion world. Open until April 5th, 2025, at the Hôtel du Grand Veneur, the show, curated by Sarah Andelman, highlights how style influenced Peanuts creator Charles Schulz and his characters, showcasing archival comic strips, rare objects, and couture-clad Snoopy and Belle dolls designed by some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses. For this edition, 18 new designers, including Marine Serre, Valentino, Lacoste, Giambattista Valli, Simone Rocha, and others, have dressed not only Snoopy but, for the first time, his best friend Woodstock as well.

75 iconic designers dress Charles M. Schulz’s character
The tradition of dressing Snoopy in high fashion dates back to 1982, when Connie Boucher invited designers to create custom looks for the plush dolls. Over the decades, major fashion houses—Chanel, Balenciaga, Hermès, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Issey Miyake, and more—have contributed to this sartorial spectacle. The 2025 edition of Snoopy in Style gathers 75 of these designs to mark Peanuts’ 75th anniversary, offering a glimpse into the evolution of fashion through the lens of pop culture. This year, 18 designers join the project for the first time, including Marine Serre, Mira Mikati, Patou, Paul Smith, Rabih Kayrouz, Sacai, Simone Rocha, 3.PARADIS, and Valentino by Alessandro Michele, alongside Amiri, ERL, Fursac by Gauthier Borsarello, Giambattista Valli, Highsnobiety, Jeanne Friot, KidSuper, Lacoste, and LGN Louis-Gabriel Nouchi.
Adding to the experience, a dedicated gift shop at the exit of the exhibition features exclusive collectibles, including a limited-edition Bamford London Steel GMT watch, a Baccarat x Sarah Andelman crystal Snoopy donning a mini Béton Ciré Miki hat, a Yellowpop neon, Izipizi sunglasses, and collaborations with Casetify, Baggu, Retrospekt, Tattly, and Globe-Trotter. Vintage books from Pillow-Cat Books, marshmallows, and other nostalgic Peanuts-inspired items round out the offerings. Visitors can explore Snoopy in Style daily at 60 rue de Turenne, Paris, free of charge.
