Danilo Villanueva of Makina Watches crafts MAKINA Azazel_I
Designed by Danilo Villanueva, Makina Azazel_I is a 40mm timepiece constructed from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel. Its sandblasted case features a sculptural, geometric form designed to conceal wear while emphasizing durability. With a 46mm lug-to-lug length and a thickness of 12.2mm, the watch is proportioned for everyday use in a range of environments.
The case is equipped with a unidirectional bezel that operates with 120 mechanical clicks. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters, supported by a domed sapphire crystal treated with triple-layer anti-reflective coating to ensure legibility in various lighting conditions. A silicone strap is paired with the case for comfort and wearability.

MAKINA Azazel_I is a reliable, precise timepiece, built to last
The dial design incorporates layered surfaces and negative space to create visual depth. At 6 o’clock, a rotating disc functions as the seconds indicator, replacing the traditional hand with continuous motion. New hand designs and luminous elements provide visibility in low-light conditions.
Powering the Azazel_I is the Sellita SW260-1, a Swiss-made automatic movement with a small seconds complication. It operates at 28,800 beats per hour, includes hacking and hand-winding functionality, and offers a 38-hour power reserve. The movement is selected for reliability and long-term performance under regular use. Designed by Danilo Villanueva, this Makina Watch model is reliable, precise, and built to last.
